What do you think of the like/dislike system ?

I only read and post never use them. (6 votes) 7.41% I tick all posts on their merits, (30 votes) 37.04% I only like never put a cross (4 votes) 4.94% I cross most posts because I can. (3 votes) 3.70% I do use the system but wish it was not there. (9 votes) 11.11% There should only be a like putting a X only creates disharmony (11 votes) 13.58% Never take any notice of it. You can only really agree or disagree with an opinion.

Go on then, I'll risk it !! I use the ticks and crosses occasionally. If I strongly agree with a post I tick it. If I strongly disagree I cross it.   I do tend to find it's the same people that get crosses or ticks. Probably as their views are mostly different to mine or vica verca. But several times I have seen the name of the OP, instinctively gone to the cross, only to find I do agree and therefore tick it. I certainly don't take them personally and feel some folk are a little sensitive about likes or dislikes from someone they don't (and are never likely to) even know. The wife was going away for a girly weekend. I jokingly remarked  'I don't know whether to spend it watching porn or watching football' 'you may as well spend it watching porn' she replied That's understanding darling what makes you say that? I asked She said 'Well you already know how to play football'
