Come on Tranmere, beat Vinces invincibles like we did last season and stop a mickey mouse club from getting promotion to the Football League.

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

I don't have an issue with a "Mickey Mouse" club coming up but FGR are on another level. A decent club, with decent owners and a promising manager deserve their big break but FGR try to buy the league season after season and it backfires. Hopefully it backfires today as Tranmere would probably bring more to BP.

Scousers or a club thats the plaything of an arrogant weirdo who will bring no more than 50 fans to BP ever.  I wish for neither tbh

When he played at BP for Luton the Ponny where chanting "do you want a sausage roll" at him. Looking at him I think the answer was yes

Tranmere just need to keep it on the ground and settle a bit.  No need to be hoofing it forward at this stage.  Long time to go.

Mcnultys probably great on small bumpy pitches like at braintree, bullying, harassing, wiping out threats from set peices, but wembley is a pitch for footballers and athletes, and its really showing

Well... Hurst can lay claim that he has been to a Conference play off final three years on the trot!

Batch, K.Moore, Waters, Wiggington, Crombie, Brolly, Ford, Drinkell, Mitchell, Cumming, Kilmore. D.Moore, Stone, Liddell. ....1979/80..... now that WAS a team.

Looking like it's gonna be the veggies then... they'll have made losses of over 5.5 million over the last 2 years, that's including 2 trips to Wembley. How on earth is that financial fair play? Shouldn't be allowed in the league.

Mcnulty starting to show his weight,

Dusting my Harry down ready to take to Forest Green next season,

Not a bad match to watch though,

It's win win for me.
Tranmere come back and Stale Mince gets done once again.
Tranmere don't come back and I get to see the grief on Thousands of their fans faces.
Only difference is I don't get the chance to sing about it like they did to us.
Fcuk em.

The wife was going away for a girly weekend.
I jokingly remarked  'I don't know whether to spend it watching porn or watching football'

That's understanding darling what makes you say that? I asked

It'll be a sad day for league football if this rich boy's vanity project makes it in. Soon he'll build his ultimate eco stadium and we'll have cardboard burgers to enjoy.

Did Cooper really say thay FGR aren't trying to but their way out of the league?

McNulty is one of those players who gives everyone hope that they could still make it as a pro.

Quoted from LH
Did Cooper really say thay FGR aren't trying to but their way out of the league?

McNulty is one of those players who gives everyone hope that they could still make it as a pro.

Mcfatty may be struggling. Don't know how old he is. But three years ago I'd have had him at Town.

The wife was going away for a girly weekend.
I jokingly remarked  'I don't know whether to spend it watching porn or watching football'
'you may as well spend it watching porn' she replied
That's understanding darling what makes you say that? I asked

She said 'Well you already know how to play football'

There is just no atmosphere. Even at 1-1 it sounded dead. I think the National League must miss our support

The time wasting by FGR is embarrassing.

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

He's good enough at Conference level but I can't imagine him being any good against some of the sides we've faced in the league.

Looks like Div 2 clubs will be getting their road maps out and looking for a village called green and Nailsworth.

18,000 is very poor.  Should be that the VAST majority came from Tranmere.

Just aimless hoofing from Tranmere.  Not sure if all their ball-carriers are among the injured, but they don't look like creating much apart from when they get it to the wings and try to cross for Cook.

What I hope is that when there budget is comparatively less superior when they are in league 2, the lack of atmosphere at home combined with the much more intimidating away fixtures, reality hits and they struggle big time next season

All a bit embarrassing for Tranmere now looks like they've already given up and are just booting the ball into nothing.

But you can make a stadium out environmentally friendly fake wood and have a statue of Dale Vince outside made of recyclable materials.

Poor by Tranmere, I hate to say it but FGR deserve this win on over the 90 minutes.

FGR reach the promised land, what's it coming to when they become the smallest town in England ( 6,000 ) to reach the Football League FFS.

What a terrible day for English football. I'd rather have Hartlepool in our league next season than that self-aggrandising prat's little play thing!

Come on EFL. You can redeem yourselves for the B team fiasco by not letting them in on FFP grounds.

FFS.............. The worrying thing is they'll find a way out of FFP and have one of the biggest budgets next season. As much as I'm aggrieved to admit it they where the better side on the day.

Nice to see Dale dressed for the occasion.

Will need to think of what we are going to do on our visit there next year. Presumably no inflatables so maybe balloons or even better hundreds of condoms floating gently through the Gloucestershire air, quite appropriate as they are a bunch of coks

Was that before or after the switch from composing classical music to performing in TV talent shows? Non stop entertainment when The Mullens where around.

It's a great achievement I hope it goes well for them versus tough opponents. Seem to remember Hereford where clear favourites last season but came unstuck so who knows?
