Adi Yussuf started well, scored a couple of goals and got rave reviews but then seemed to vanish from the side, come back and struggle to assert himself in games and not found a strike partner besides Bogle that he works well with. He's still a young player though so maybe somebody will get the best out of him either here or elsewhere, feel like there is a player in there somewhere.

You could say the bit in bold about both Hurst and Bignot's signings from last season.

Beginning to think of him as a journeyman - looked like a desperate signing at the time.

He may be, but desperate signings usually come right at the end of a transfer window, not usually right at the start.

With a full pre-season he could be a very useful player.

Remie Streete could possibly be one of our first (announced) signings?

I also think, because the wording vis a vis Davies on the OS was the same as Pearson, that we're seeing if we can do better than him before we offer him a deal.

He was highly rated at port vale and is expected to stay at least league one level. Can't see us getting him unless you know something or is this a case of wishful thinking

I think his contract was mutually terminated because they couldn't afford his wages. So although I'm not saying that it's not true I think it would be unlikely although if we do it's an obvious statement of intent.

He was apparently on 2.5k a week at port vale and has interest from league one and championship clubs so this is utter rubbish. Wishful thinking
