Signing loads of players really quickly doesn't necessarily bring success. Look at the signings Newell and Bignot signed.

Evans isn't Newell or Bignot though.

I don't see Mansfield as one of the bigger teams in the league,Evans is obviously the big factor in these players signing and I think/hope RS will have a similar impact

Mansfield have a LOT of money. Evans + free spending chairman = success.

When do we expect Grimsby to make their first signing? We normally make our first in the first week of June, it's just being patient waiting for the first signing and then before you know it more and more will sign in quick succession.

Haven't you just answered your own question?

Lincoln City have repelled interested from a trio of clubs to keep skipper Luke Waterfall at Sincil Bank.

Notts County, Coventry City and Carlisle United are believed to have approached the central defender, whose Imps deal expires this summer.

But Waterfall has rejected those advances to sign a new two-year deal with Lincoln, keeping him at Sincil Bank until the summer of 2019.

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

They must have made him a good offer because they wanted him-we have several players that we "supposedly" want so why can't we make them good offers before other teams like Mansfield come a calling

How do you know we have not made good offers?
