If he isn't getting a new contract then I think that RS or the club need to make an exception for a club legend and announce it before the last game against Plymouth. No will he or won't he as the last game of the season is played. It makes sense for us all to know for definite so if he is leaving he can get the send off he deserves.

All this role of coaching talk baffles me. Why would he want to do that when he could easily carry on playing for a couple more seasons for someone else at National League level.

I think he has shown when he has played he could still definitely do a job in our league let alone in the conference.

Agree would be nice to know if his future so we could give him a suitable send off if he is going.  Personally still hope to see him in a Town shirt and playing next season though,

I'm baffled by the coaching job talk mainly because I'd suggest non of us know if a) he wants to be a coach and b) if he would be any good. Just because he has been a fantastic player for us doesn't mean he would be a useful coach

It was easy for him to play today, but still good to see him playing composed football. Given we will be reducing squad numbers I do not think he will be with us next season.

I would like the announcement before Plymouth as well. Then Slade can pick him and substitute him in 89th minute to an enormous standing ovation.

I would love to see him get a great send off if he is not going to be retained. Craig being Craig though I doubt he would want any game to be more about him than the team and result, that is why he's such a top man!

I seem to remember reading that Disley has been doing his accountancy exams over the past year or two. A good idea to train for a profession after football as there aren't that many good coaching jobs around, I'd imagine.
