For the record, Please state now what you will not find acceptable under Slade's management and calling for him to be sacked and how long does he have?
Under your "Bignot law" Slades team:-
MUST be in a better position in the league table i.e play offs or automatic place.
Stick rigidly to the same formation (442 is the favourite on the fishy)
Not have any long term plan regarding player recruitment.
Cope with losing the better players in the transfer window
Play the players in the squad that moan and complain the loudest to keep them happy.
Will the "Bignot out" brigade give slade more time than 5 months and 3 days, I wonder!

| Are we any closer to getting promoted since Hurst has been here? No
Has he been given time to achieve promotion by the chairman and fans? Yes

Was there ever a Bignot out brigade? A couple of posters perhaps but no more than that.
I know a fair few who werent happy with what they were seeing, and hearing, but not many of them wanted him out and fully expected him to get until the autumn at the very least

Sorry, but what the flying fuk is a 'fanboy' ???????? If it's 'new 'speak then I am not as down with my homies or half as 'sick' as I thought I was.

| The wife was going away for a girly weekend. I jokingly remarked 'I don't know whether to spend it watching porn or watching football' 'you may as well spend it watching porn' she replied That's understanding darling what makes you say that? I asked She said 'Well you already know how to play football' |

It certainly wasn't as large as the "Hurst-out" after Halifax and Braintree last season!

Here's my list of things he cannot do.
1.) A lop-sided formation 2.) A transfer policy that results in us having 10 players in a position where only 2 or 3 can play at 1 given time. 3.) Tactics that involve playing multiple players out of position despite signing lots of players. 4.) Refusing to sign anyone in positions where we are short and leave a gap rather than sign the "wrong type of player" 5.) Sign no end of 5th, 6th tier or semi-pro players in the hope that we get another Bogle. 6.) Begin preseason before July. 7.) Have no actual tactics or style of play and just change it on a weekly basis
And finally
Request a strength and conditioning coach.

i was a bignot fan - thought he was exactly what we needed, but from what all i've heard and been told it sounds like the players did us a real favour. Sounds like he came in like a bull in a china shop and ended up completely out of his depth. experienced pros like collins gowling or disley can suss out a 'chancer' very quickly. i'm confident that jf suspected sumat was amiss and will have checked with moore, woods and warington before taking the plunge. i hope bignot succeeds eventually, i liked his ideas of structure and longer term planning etc. i would imagine he will be able to get a decent job at conference level where he can rebuild his career, it just sounds like he took a step too far, too soon

Agree completely. Let's not forget he was managing a conference north team and our recent big losses have come against 2 teams who were in League 1 last year. That's a big gap.

Did you really believe that rubbish? I honestly believe it was all a facade to try and cover up his obvious disillusionment with the players. He certainly talked a very good game and had his heart in the right place and signed a couple of very good looking players and also gave us some memorable victories this season but looks like a non-league manager to me.
