Clearly. I'm told the decision to sack him was made last week. Seems strange to let him take charge of another game.

Quite possibly, and was Slade at Blackpool last Saturday ? if he had been in talks last week about the job i'd be very surprised if he wasn't.

Well if it is to be Slade I hope JF has asked the players if it's OK to go ahead with the appointment. Don't want them all having another hissy fit.
