With it seeming likely that it was the players that inspired the sacking, it occurs to me that they better put in one hell of a performance on Friday. I'd specifically play those that revolted, just so they can do their talking on the pitch, and if they're shite, I'd be telling them were to go.

we dont know who it was, and we never will, we can point fingers accuse wtc, but for me im proud of them - as i said on another thread- Bignot did not have a clue, the team spirit was non existant and they did not want to play for the man.

I've had a text saying who it was and it doesn't surprise me. I think we all know which players are the most likely candidates. I also don't agree with the general consensus that MB didn't have a clue.

What had you seen to suggest otherwise? Anyone can say we're planning for the future, but you can't be shite for too long in the now. He could have easily pursued changes to the setup of the club, but focussed on some stability on the pitch.

Quite a few apparently and those that did were also representing others i have been told, so it looks like quite a rebellion.

ginny genuine questions Ref Donny at home what would you have done in relation to sending a team out at home to play the runaway league leaders in front of a near full house? Did the team MB selected have the best possible chance of taking points from them in your opinion?

Can't be done I'm afraid. You're only allowed 11 on the pitch !!!!!!!!!

| The wife was going away for a girly weekend. I jokingly remarked 'I don't know whether to spend it watching porn or watching football' 'you may as well spend it watching porn' she replied That's understanding darling what makes you say that? I asked She said 'Well you already know how to play football' |

That final game, a 3-1 away win was particularly clueless and lacking in team spirit. You could see the Town scorers gritting their teeth and visibly sighing as they smacked the ball home.

I had seen enough wins and enough promise to suggest he wasn't clueless as some keep trotting out. You don't get as far as he has in management if you are clueless and it's a lazy throwaway comment by fans to keep saying it. You can focus on the bad losses but nobody seems to making much mention of the good wins at some of the top end clubs. He had a fragmented squad with clear divisions and lost our top scorer. We can argue all day about formations and whether he should have been experimenting as much as he did, but to suggest he was clueless when we were in no danger at any point in his tenure is just disrespecting his efforts. I liked him and his ideas and i make no secret of it. Others have a different view and that's fine but no-one will convince me that he was clueless. Naive and impatient maybe.
