Anyone know anything about this chap who's suddenly appeared as 2nd favourite for the Town job with Bet Victor?

Never heard of him.

Quick Wiki shows he is the son of David Webb of Chelsea fame and has played for about 50 different clubs. No management roles to speak of, so looks highly unlikely, unless the club have gone completely mental.

Managed 12 games for Leyton Orient recently, so that's not a ringing endorsement.

Wasn't he the chap who recently resigned as Orient manager? I'd be amazed if it was him.

Looking forward to a brighter future now Fenty has gone.

Yeah, looks like it. Can't be a serious contender, surely?

Bookies will see recent League 2 manager and the Town vacancy then put 2 and 2 together and get 5. Don't read too much into the bookies odds at this stage.

If he gets the job, I'll walk down Grimsby Road stark bollock naked for his first home game.

Strange how he's appeared out of nowhere on the list. Someone must have had a couple of quid on him. Slade still showing as red hot favourite though.

I wish I could afford to chuck £20 away. I would put it on Webb just to see him go odds on, then watch the meltdown on here.

It's a small market folks. Tuppence each way could alter the odds.
If I back him each way and he gets an interview will they pay out 😉

The wife was going away for a girly weekend.
I jokingly remarked  'I don't know whether to spend it watching porn or watching football'
'you may as well spend it watching porn' she replied
That's understanding darling what makes you say that? I asked

She said 'Well you already know how to play football'

Surprised no one's mentioned Neil Redfearn.

He's got a great reputation for working with young players and getting them into the first team. He did a fairly solid job at Leeds under testing conditions.

I don't think it's likely, but he's a massively experienced football man.
