Personally i want to be challenging at the top of league 2, not worrying about relegation next season.  I think Bignot is totally out of his depth in league 2. I can't see us getting 3000 season ticket sales this summer and that will effect what players we bring in. .

Well that is just a self-fulfilling prophecy if you allow it to.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

Thank you Mr Corbyn (Steptoe), you are the best thing that has happened to the Conservatives for ages.

I don't know if you are trolling or not but the point needs answering anyway.

My reasons for wanting a change of manager this year were exactly the ones you say. We need to be ambitious not to stand still and I don't think we would have been so forward looking with the steady eddie footie we saw at the start.

Maybe MB has made mistakes but I would rather see a positive learning curve than a negative one. To me there has been far more good than bad for the club this season despite last Saturday at BP. The biggest problem is MB sometimes seems to think his players are capable of changing positions and systems without a hiccup. That problem will diminish with time and as long as MB does not go into Tinkerman mode he will be OK. Certainly his signings have been positive and the players seem happy to play for him and share his philosophy that it's wins that matter. If you win 3 and lose 2 out of 5 games you are 4 points better off than being unbeaten with 5 draws.

We will finish in the position most of us expected and if we had gone for avoiding relegation as we did from the start the table might read the same, but I have a feeling there might have been a few itchy bums during March before safety was achieved.

Great result yesterday with no negatives . The op has his own view but to have a go after a 3-1 win will lose any credibility the op had .

Bignot 38 points in 27 games , equates to 65 points a season. Don't quite know how the haters think we are doomed to relegation with that record

I know it's fashionable to 'snipe' whenever the opportunity presents itself, but I try, mostly, to take the longer view, not least because it takes much longer to build than to destroy. Like everyone else, I'm sad when Town are thumped/humiliated, but 'bite my lip' rather than show a tantrum, which always seems rather ridiculous within a few days. I think/hope the club is progressing and that better players will ultimately replace those less able, but it all takes time. At least we are back as a league club and seem able to hold our own in League 2, even if we are well below League 1 standard at present. I'll be renewing my ST even whilst unable/unwilling to make the long journey to Cleethorpes for each home game. I'm hoping to be there for Cambridge, which will probably be my last of the season.
