Codger why are you reluctant to hear anything against bignot?! If this was hurst tonight he'd be lynched. We arent all saying bignot out, but he's leaving many of us baffled with his odd decisions

Agreed. I don't think he is a number 1 at this level and tonight is more evidence. I think he makes the defence shaky and hesitant.

I've thought this for most of the season and certainly when Deano was in goal the defence seemed more comfortable.

Spot on mate.
I'm all for giving the bloke a chance but he seems to have some crazy ideas of how to play the game.
He's wearing very thin.


In his three stints as Grimsby Town manager spanning over 10 years the club was never relegated and he also guided them to three promotions.
Only 14 managers have reached 1,000 matches in charge of a Football League team by 1998 and Buckley is one of them.

Hurst had 5 years, MB hasn't had 5 months. Like me, Codger will not be happy at some of the performances and results but maybe we have learnt over many years not to be too downhearted when things are not going well.
