And the first semi-final out of the hat saw Bromsgrove Sporting paired with Cleethorpes Town, with Midland League Division One club Sporting playing host in the first leg before it’s back to the east coast for the decider. Coleshill Town will be hosts at Pack Meadow in the first leg of the other semi-final, as South Shields head to the Midlands first before playing the second leg at Mariners Park a week later. The first legs will take place on Saturday 11 March, with the second legs seven days later on Saturday 18 March. Not only will the winners secure a place at Wembley Stadium in May, but they’ll also pick up £4500 in prize money, whilst there will be a £1500 consolidation prize for the losing semi-finalists. The draw 1 Bromsgrove Sporting v Cleethorpes Town 2 Coleshill Town v South Shields

Bromsgrove had 3000 watching them at the weekend.
Not sure how the Bradley are going to cope as I'm sure it will only host 1100-1200 fans.

I see the home leg of the game is on the same day we're at home to Crawley. Will Humberside Police be able to deal with 2 such massive games at the same time?

According to this Clee (Northern Counties East Premier) are Level 5 in non-league and Bromsgrove (Midland League Division One) are Level 6, even though Bromsgrove are 2nd favourites to win the competition after South Shields. Well done to Clee it would be good if they could play at Blundell Park either before the Crawley game or after it, Just looking at our top scorers now Omar has left, We have 8 players on 2, I bet there has not been that many equal top scorers in a team this late in the season before, The opposition will not know who to mark

I would definitely go to Wembley. But then it isn't that far.
It's a good suggestion putting the Clee home leg on at BP.

Just to clarify. We did consider the option of BP but when we spoke to the FA you cannot move a game for financial reasons. Only if it is for health and safety. They deemed Bradley as adequate therefore do not see an H+Sam issue.
We are working with the Bradley FDC to increase the capacity and are awaiting the outcome. We have allocated Bromsgrove with 400 tickets. So hopefully it will be a sell out. I understand your love for your club but if there is any one you know that would like to come to a fa vase semi final please let them know. This is fantastic for our area and we do appreciate the support GTFC fans give us.

400, that's a fair slice of your current capacity Dave. Was that by your choice of do you have to give the visiting team a certain number under FA Rules. I notice that they got just under 3000 for their quarter-final tie so they are obviously a well supported club. It's a shame the home leg is on the same day as a Town home game as I'm sure you would have had a few Town fans down to watch. (If they could have got tickets that is) Good luck for the games mate and here's hoping you make it to Wembley, which would be a fantastic acheivement for your club.

Like said Les we are working to increase the capacity to 1600. I anticipate support for us will be around 1000-1200. So rather than loose out on sales we felt it would be good for both clubs to offer them a reasonable share

Hagrid They were originally Bromsgrove rovers but I think went bust. They set up Bromsgrove sporting. They were put in step 6 one below us currently. They are top n obviously a great fan Base. They had just sort of 3k on Sunday for there quarter final. It will be a tough game but we believe we can do this. We have a great squad and macca has helped immensely. It will be a very proud moment if we get to Wembley. To think this could happen 7 year ago I wud of thought you were taking something. But everyone works really hard at the club to succeed and the rewards are coming through now

It will be a great achievement if you get there, the senario could be Cleethopes in the Vase & Lincoln in the trophy, Marcus and the lads need to crack on to the play offs as we dont want to be the Ines missing out on the delights of £5 a pint and a the sticky carpet in the Torch
But seriously if you do it you deserve all the plaudits you get.

Bromsgrove rovers were a proud old club who had excellent support so their Phoenix club have obviously continued that traditions

Can nothing be done to get the fixture switched so anyone who is GTFC first but interested in CTFC can attend? I appreciate this could be difficult with part time players. It was enjoyable watching Clee silence a fairly noisy following from Atherton in the quarters.

Unfortunately not. We have tried but were unsuccessful. Lots of politics behind the scenes in football that people do not realise. Certainly I didn't until becoming chairman. I'm hopeful we will still sell out the game and it be a great occasion. Haha Grantley our trophy cabinet says otherwise

i wish Clee luck.
And I probably would go to Wembley if they made it. I reckon a few thousand would go.
I notice they are away to Bottesford Town next Saturday. I would have gone to that if the Mariners werent at home.
I admire the progress the Owls have made in the last few seasons. Rising from the Lincs League to the verge of promotion to the Northern Premier League. Appointing Macca as director of football shows intent as well.
How far can they go? They are potentially a couple of promotions from National League. That may be possible one day perhaps. I doubt the infrastructure/fanbase is there to go higher. Certainly the area couldnt support 2 pro clubs. But NPL is a pretty good level of non league football regardless.

Massive result yesterday. They're now five points clear at the top with a game in hand.
Into the semi-finals of the FA Vase.
They're on for the double!

Cloudy I am a fan of GTFC. But my commitment now is CTFC. Although Myself and Manno were both there on Tuesday. I had my granddaughter yday and was taking her to Bottesford game but as she is only 8wks old didn't think it wise to take her to gtfc game. We do not wish to take any fans away from supporting gtfc only trying to encourage them to come and watch Clee when not at a game. The fa vase is massive for us and only trying to drum up support as any chairman or vice chairman would do.

Hearing the constant shite about Lincoln doing well in the cup and league is bad enough never mind all the drivel about Clee town on a gtfc message board. I wish you all the best, but I really don't give a flying intercourse how your season develops, save it for your own message board and stop trying to poach our fans.

I've lived in Cleethorpes for 50 years but the only time I have watched Cleethorpes Town FC is when they have played GTFC and that will always be how it is for me.
Having said that I must admit I would consider going to Wembley if they reach the final.
Good to hear on here how well Cleethorpes are doing though.

I've watched them but not for me, clearly a lot of well intentioned people involved with them though that is very obvious.

Could be an iteresting trip to Wembley if Clee make it with their match being possibly followed by Lincoln v Tranmere FA Trophy final.
I think some of our baseball & stone island wearing supporters may find that an entertaining day out. Certainly if those two make it to the final there will be a good sized crowd guaranteed.

Are GTFC going to be playing in the Vase Final? If not, you've just contradicted yourself inside two paragraphs! If I lived down in that neck of the woods, I'd almost certain go to Wembley if they got there. As it stands, I live in Cleethorpes and would have no intention whatsoever of travelling down.

Yeah you got me there, I should've said I would consider going to Wembley if they reach the final as a one-off.
