Seems like a top bloke. Has been on Twitter this evening responding, so it seems, to everyone Town fan who has tweeted him.

He's clearly impacted by yesterday's defeat and obviously wants to put it right on Tuesday.

Sometimes you only get a sense for a player when you watch him live.

Although he didn't do anything outstanding at Crewe, and didn't really affect the game in any way, he still caught the eye with certain passages of play.

Totally different player to Groves in his peak, but we could have a box-to-box midfielder on our hands who's capable of scoring 8-10 goals a season.

Goals is not Jamey Osborne's game, Solihull fans said themselves if he's got any weakness it is that he doesn't score as many goals as he should

I thought he looked a bit embarrassed by the whole affair on Saturday and didn't emerge from his shell for much of the game, but still managed to be our most promising player.  Definitely a great prospect, once he finds a wave of confidence he's going to be a fantastic player for us.

I think he had 5 in 27 before joining us. That's not a bad return for a midfielder, although I take your point in the sense that it perhaps could and should be more, given his talent.

And that they were scored in the division below where we are now.

He can see a pass and deliver though, but my prediction is that Sam Jones will turn out to be a very important Groves type goal scorer before very long,  and in my view a very good prospect for a league one challenge.

Look if we can finish the season in decent form, as we've been in all season, and add a couple of high quality players in the summer. Maybe an athletic centre half, a striker who knows where the back if the net is and also play McAllister, as he's definitely good enough for a promotion push if Comley goes back, we'll have a good chance of progressing next year with a promotion push.
