Good spot Ollie about Asante.

It does say he is a GTFC player. Seems maybe someone has jumped the gun before the official announcement.

Highlight vids can be deceptive. They show what a player is capable of.....whether they do that on a consistent basis is another matter. But he looks like he can finish and likes to play on the last defender so i hope we give him the right service. That was something that frustrated me when Hearn was here for example...you knew through on goal 1 on 1 he would put it away but more often than not he was playing with his back to goal with balls coming into him head height. Hearn could have got 40 goals a season for us.

Asante reminds me a bit of Bogle (a ready made replacement perhaps?). Once he gets used to League football he could be a decent buy. I do wonder why he hasnt been a regular starter for Moors and why their fans dont seem overly upset if he's off. According to Soccerbase he has made 13 starts and 8 sub appearances for them in 18 months...but scored an incredible 28 goals in that time.

thanks Ginny. Both lads have signed from Solihull then.

I look forward to seeing them play. The Solihull fans loved Osbourne and rated him very highly. Sounds like we may have beaten off a few other clubs to get him.

All over the Solihull Moors site.

Thank you Mr Corbyn (Steptoe), you are the best thing that has happened to the Conservatives for ages.

I like the pic of Asante that the GET have used recently..........This might sound mad but if you look closely he is pulling the shirt off the defenders back, bear with me on this please.

Before the "they didn't cheat in my day brigade" red cross me that pic might signify he has some real aggression which is what we have missed a bit up front possibly since the shop left. Plus he does not look like a fat ba%^$rd like a certain player from down the road we saw on the telly last night.

Developing this squad as all about options and if he can control the aggression, play a bit he may give us that and be a bit of a find.

Hardly any substance to this rumour but a Mansfield supporting friend of mine mentioned we were interested in Chris Clements a few weeks ago. He's definitely played a lot of games over the last two seasons.
