No but it was within their grasp. I don't recall there being wails of opposition from many of them. Couldn't wait to get their hands on the filthy lucre (or at least see it spent on players they couldn't afford before).......which didn't materialise in the quantities they hoped for.

I did. There wasn't much noise about them being unhappy at the time. No protests.

Same with Pompey when they were spending millions they didn't have.

Its the fans i feel for regardless whether the club is liked or not.  Look at Morecambe their owner is nowhere to be seen but what can they do......i guess it doesn't help when 2 board members clear off.  Is this were the FA need to step in and allow the club to change owners at no cost?

Is a sorry state.  From a GTFC perspective isn't it refreshing to see the club focus on development with a backroom team PH would have wanted (as in the number of staff).  MB obviously sees youngish talent with the need to develop into the first team or sell on.
