Yep. Contracted for next season. Brentford have got cash on the hip - give us 4million for Bogle and we'll see what we can do

Actually they may not be a "massive club" but are not going up or down by the looks of it and that would give him time to adjust and develop, though like most I would rather he stayed till the end of this season. All they need to do is cough up a massive mountain of cash now with sell on's that last for ever.

"Crombie you would have got to that if you weren't such a fat ba%$@rd" - George Kerr, inspiration from the dug out 70s style

2million? Double that. 4m is the going rate and Id be surprised if we don't get close to that
I can see it being around 3m with afew extras. Naff all to a Championship club
We signed Ashcroft for half a million 20 years ago and he was shite!

You only have to look at the Torres deal - andy carroll went for well over the odds

Christ you all wanted him sacked a few months ago. 6th place finish and he's now the messiah and can do no wrong
Update:  I think I've got this right - He was the messiah. He then wasn't. He then was again. Then it turned out he actually wasnt. He turned into one big huge messiah again. Now he's not actually the messiah we thought he was . Now I'm hoping he rises again quickly

Bogle going would obviously be a sad moment. However, the funds would hopefully go towards a wider spread of players capable of scoring, which bignot supposed targets indicate. Therefore, in the long run the money could help fund a solid all around team.

Personally, I wouldn't contemplate any offer of less than £2 million for Bogle and, with the reported level of interest in him, the price is only likely to go up the longer this month goes on. Rotherham's offer is a pittance.

Why would he want to go to a team that we'll be playing in the league next season anyway?

Would Hurst get a cut for bringing him here?????

In his three stints as Grimsby Town manager spanning over 10 years the club was never relegated and he also guided them to three promotions.
Only 14 managers have reached 1,000 matches in charge of a Football League team by 1998 and Buckley is one of them.

Ashcroft was pretty decent but a measure of his unpredictability was that Buckley refers to him as " The Loon"

Batch, Crombie, Moore K, Wiggington, Cumming, Waters, Bonnyman, Ford, Emson, Drinkell, Whymark. Love you all, You are the reason I'm on here. You've had help from Todd, Handyside, Futcher P, Groves, Mendonca, Macca etc etc etc. Up The Mariners!!!!!!!!!

I'd be amazed if he doesn't break our record transfer fee this window.

Although my heart wants him to stay, his departure is almost inevitable as the club can't afford not to cash in by waiting till there's only 12 months left on his contract. As I've stated previously, I'm sure there's a figure that will tip the board into selling - I just hope it's in excess of £2million.
