So...each year there's a few films that always make me feel just that little bit more Christmassy. Top 5?

Die Hard 2
Bad Santa
Home Alone 2
Muppets' Christmas Carol
Scrooged

So....which Christmas films make your top 5?

Films that remind me of Christmas time as they were always on when I was a kid over the festive period

Willy Wonka
Wizard of Oz

Both fantastic films and I still watch them now and I'm almost 47

Another good one which is a recent (ish) film is The Polar Express

Grimsby and proud!

Von Ryan's Express
The Great Escape

The Sound of Music - time to get out of the house. Fancy popping round to the Crows?

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

every Boxing Day

The wife was going away for a girly weekend.
I jokingly remarked  'I don't know whether to spend it watching porn or watching football'
'you may as well spend it watching porn' she replied
That's understanding darling what makes you say that? I asked

She said 'Well you already know how to play football'

The first ex mother in law (bless her) was German and she always went to Germany for Christmas and bring me a bottle or two of schnapps back.
I used to tape Battle of Britain for her which usually seemed to be on around xmas for some reason.

love the snowman and Santa Claus the Movie(1985)    take me back to my childhood

The Snowman is great but not too long ago I watched an animation by the same artist called When the Wind blows....it made the end scene of the Snowman seem like a happy ending.

When The Wind Blows is brilliant.

The Muppet version of A Christmas Carol is still the best.

I thought Bad Santa was utter rubbish (despite the fact that it received good reviews) so I'm surprised to see they've somehow come up with a sequel.

The Patrick Stewart Christmas Carol is pretty good too.

Bad Santa is great and I won't hear a bad word spoken of it I didn't realise there was a sequel though.

Alistair Sim version of Christmas Carol. Family tradition to watch it just before Chrimbo and open the Quality Street, then Chrimbo has officially started. Sadly this tradition has waned as the older generation have gone to the great grotto in the sky. It was my sister buying the coloured in version that jinxed it i reckon.

Bad Santa. (you're wrong Maringer)

Uncle Buck, not a christmas film but i associate it with Chrimbo.

Gremlins, which brings back great memories.

Zulu.

More films that evoke Christmas than actual Christmas films, which i find sickly in the main.
