I used to tape Battle of Britain for her which usually seemed to be on around xmas for some reason.

Family tradition to watch it just before Chrimbo and open the Quality Street, then Chrimbo has officially started. Sadly this tradition has waned as the older generation have gone to the great grotto in the sky. It was my sister buying the coloured in version that jinxed it i reckon. Bad Santa. (you're wrong Maringer) Uncle Buck, not a christmas film but i associate it with Chrimbo. Gremlins, which brings back great memories. Zulu.   More films that evoke Christmas than actual Christmas films, which i find sickly in the main.
