Todays "in-house" game finished in a 1-1 draw. Josh Venny put the stripes 1-0 up at half time with Scott Vernon equalising for the reds in the 2nd half.

James McKeown handled outside the box again in the first half but stayed on the pitch this time.

Venney is a good player IMO, I hope Marcus recognises this and gives the lad more of a chance than what Hurst did, if we went out and signed a young ball winner and goal scorer like him, we would all be crowing

i agree on this one, not seen him that much, just the odd reserve games and some FA trophy games i attended, looks small but doesn't stop him from getting about. would like to see more of him
