I'd be absolutely gutted if Paul went to Shrewsbury like the bookies seem to think, and I hope to God it isn't true, however this is football and these things do happen.

So, if is the case, who would people want to replace Paul?

Personally I think the cowley brothers would be a decent shout, did a great job at little Braintree and doing a great job at Lincoln so far. Surely the town job would be very attractive for them and also helps that we are doing well in league two so far.

Another  candidate possibly I'd hope would be considered would be Paul cox at Barrow.

Then there's a few others currently out of work which would show some ambition.

Nigel Adkins, Steve cotterill, Steve Evans.

Anyone else?

If the worst happens - we have to look above not underneath. Tempt those who have managed teams in higher or same level leagues
Besides why would Hursty leave an in-form Grimsby to join an out-of-form Shrewsbury? Surely it can't always be about the money

Why would Curle leave Carlisle? But more importantly why woul Hursty leave us? I'm on tenterhooks to find out the answer.

Why would you replace someone who hasn't gone? On a serious note, if this board allow Paul Hurst to leave to go to a nothing club like Shrewsbury, they want their arses kicking.

I'll take someone who only demands are to drink 5 litres of Ribena a week as a cheap option.
