Wembley last year all over again....Palmer hit the ball goalward towards an empty net and Puddy handled so assume what McKeown did tonight cannot have been any more of an offence. Same old story....refs make it up as they go along imho

Anyway that's all academic.....find it a bit strange to say but so pleased that Town lost tonight and that hardly anyone turned up to witness it

I'm mainly pleased that our fans adhered by and large to the #BTeamBoycott - I always want the best for my team and tonight's outcome in a perverse kind of way is about as good as I could have expected

from reading the text report on the O.S it sounds like Mckeown came out to meet a long clearance , Pearson was heading back and the ball bounced between them at the edge of the D, that would leave it pretty clear that the ball was central and therefore heading towards the goal so if Mckeown did handle it then pretty cut and dried.  Sounds like a communication member up.
The only thing with the Puddy/Palmer incident was that the ball was out on the wing and therefore harder to determine if it would have been heading between the sticks.

Agree with your other comments.

Isn't the ref aware that this could spoil the game?

York scored first as well. That'll teach 'em.

Lincoln up to second after winning at Wrexham. Surely Mills will be gone soon. All the other Welsh teams managers have been sacked already.

Gary Mills and Steve Burr, 2 managers who were much sought after not so long ago now hanging on to their jobs and their reputations.
I can see the Conference managerial merry go round being busy this month, with Southport, Wrexham and York pressing the eject button.

Can anyone who dares to admit they went let us know how Shaun Pearson did in goal tonight?

Thing is why risk Macca at all, when Warrington was available, plus Pearson could have got injured being brave at the feet of some spotty faced wannabe

Agree with that, perfect game to give squad players a run out.
One thing (the only thing) that I miss from the tinpot is a regular dose of Tuesday night footy, seems to be a blank almost every week. This was even worse, a drab and very underwhelming night (by all accounts) where the only hope was to get through the game injury free.
Waste of everybody's time, unless you count the discovery of Pearson as the ideal 4th- choice goalkeeper as valuable.

Come on then, own up... who went last night? It's not a witch hunt by any means, it's personal choice. Just interested to hear people's reasons for going?

Highlights below:
Daft red card, no danger, their guy is jogging after the ball and has no chance of getting it, slowing up as McKeown claims it. No danger at all. Misjudgement from Macca, yes, and worth a yellow.
Ironic that one Ref can potentially jeopardise a clubs season  through ' wanting to spoil the game' with a red, yet another will be a stickler in a nothing game in front of 600 people

Red card side I think these highlights prove that no matter what we do at the minute the ball just will not hit the back of the net. They score from the silliest thing and we make all these moves we just don't score from.

No way that should ever be given as a red card. A stupid misjudgement by McKeown but no Leicester player was within ten yards of the ball. The referee is clearly a cretin.
