A coach with Rangers fans crashed earlier today. One fatality, 18 people were taken to hospital, and three were seriously hurt. Thoughts to all involved.

Terrible news and Rangers have suffered before with fans dying at a match. RIP to the deceased and a speedy recovery for those who are injured.

Coach was from my village. A number of folk quite badly hurt, and the guy that died was from the next village up the road en route to Glasgow. Terrible, terrible, tragedy. Spoken to one of the guys off the bus tonight whose son has a broken pelvis and hip. Another friend had a sister who was also quite badly hurt. Ultimately though, they're lucky, they're still alive.

It really brings it all home to you. I travel the same route every week to go and watch Auchinleck. It could be any fan, on any road, on any coach. There but for the grace of god goes every one of us. YNWA.

No attempt at ethical or social seduction can eradicate from my heart a deep burning hatred of the Tory party. So far as I'm concerned they're lower than vermin. Aneurin Bevan.
