don't know if anyone's mentioned this before, but down in the murky depths of non league Braintree have sacked Jamie Day following their disappointing start to the season

Well, I don't think that is fair. They lost Devonshire and recovered. They might just need to take a bit more time over this appointment. They've had two managers on the trot who have done very well for them, this one hasn't worked out. They need to choose wisely - they are ambitious though - plans for a new ground etc.
