i find it strange that Jon Wood is described simply as a director, with no mention of him as the Trust rep. Being picky perhaps but he never seems to be seen or heard??

When was the last time you heard anything from a director other than Fenty? There are 7 directors on the board, iirc.

I can not remember when a director of the club came out and said anything,

That's apart from Mr Fenty,

I think he runs a tight ship and nobody is allowed to come out and say anything,

It has to go through Fenty first then he ends up saying it,

I could be wrong but if someone would like to ask the question on why its always him,

Mr Fenty will tell us why.

Things aren't going to bad to be fair we look like we have a competitive team in this division and slight progress with the stadium ..however still plenty of questions will crop up which fenty won't like and so should make for a interesting evening . And before anyone mentions we have more directors than fenty I fully believe he makes all the key decisions and always as done

It's a shame Hurst/Doig wont be there this time...probably the first time in their GTFC career they haven't been under heaps of pressure and it might've been a good opportunity for them to put their feet up and have a bit of praise directed at them - hah!

I think this is a practice the club very much gets right. Having one spokesperson makes for a uniformed response making it less likely there are crossed wires.

I would find it quite amusing if no questions were asked in a perverse sort of way....the top table just sat there twiddling their thumbs..
"Welcome everybody , thank you for coming.....who would like the first question.......anyone.....dont be shy.......no ?........over to the e-mails then lets see if that can kick start us off..............oh,no e-mails......ok.....texts ? .......no...oh..........any thing at all.......oh an e-mail has come in .....its from a Mr De Freitas..... will he be able to buy a season ticket for the new Peakes Parkway Stadium at a reduced rate as the top of the floodlights obstruct his view of the clouds.....if he were to look in that direction "

Usual smokescreen. We will only get answers that Fenty wants us to hear. I will listen online whilst trimming my toenails tho' cos' Emmerdale is really rubbish at the moment. If anyone could ask, on my behalf, why there is very rarely a variation on tomato soup at the Mariners kitchen i would be much obliged.

Humberside on digital and 1485 mhz....

they seemed to indicate earlier that Cllr (Booby Trap) Barfield will be asking questions this evening regards the validity of the report recommending the Peakes Parkway site on the basis that the club doesnt need 6 odd hectares for a stadium and 2 odd hectares will actually suffice, therefore some of the sites may actually be suitable......strangely enough i dont believe any of the other sites are in Park Ward ?

Sounds like a load of balderdash re the Checkatrade shite to me. Says it was a dying competition but there 60,000 at the final last April. It's definitely dying now though.

As for not having time to read the proposals or realising the trust hadn't been consulted......

Says he's angry they changed it from U21 to U23 plus five senior players without being reconsulted and in the next breath says he'd definitely vote for it again.

Just say 'We misjudged the fans feelings, we'll try to work better with the trust next time' and there'd be a lot more respect for that.

Well, he confirmed that he would vote for the same proposal again - that says two things, one, don't question my decisions and two, I've got zero respect for what the fans think.
