Last I saw was a tweet, saying we'd never get promoted with Paul Hurst in charge

He works for a pest control company. No, really, he does. His name popped up in my Linked In feed one day, randomly.

I'll get my coat

The wife was going away for a girly weekend.
I jokingly remarked  'I don't know whether to spend it watching porn or watching football'
'you may as well spend it watching porn' she replied
That's understanding darling what makes you say that? I asked

She said 'Well you already know how to play football'

His sales pitch on Linkedin.

Professional Football/Management and Business

I began my professional playing career in 1993 in the English Premier League and then went onto spend most of my career in the Championship before taking in spells in Leagues 1 and 2.
Whilst still playing I also gained media experience working with both BBC Radio and Setanta Sports TV as a co-commentator covering matches, this was in conjunction with picking up my UEFA coaching qualifications at Level 2 & 3 which in turn lead me into a coaching position within a League 1 Academy.Having concluded a 15 year professional playing career I was then appointed the role of 1st team manager at Unibond Premier side Ilkeston Town in January of 2009, the following season I was approached by Boston United to take up the reigns of 1st team manager. In March 2011 I was appointed manager at Grimsby Town.
Although a large proportion of my working life has been within the football industry in my many varying roles outside of football I have come to understand there is a clear synergy between the business and sporting world. The expectations are similar in terms of targets and goals to be met alongside the high pressure for the constant need to be at the leading edge of your market.I’m a creative and inventive thinker, who craves a challenge and who is not afraid to work outside of my comfort zone. I possess superb communication skills which I have put into practice whilst appearing on SKY Sports News Radio, when delivering speeches at business events and most recently in my role as Business Development Manager for the National Skills Academy Food & Drink.

No mention of the fact tthat he was JOINT manager.

It gives the impression that he was sole manager of the football clubs.

He is selling himself well short because I remember Fenty saying he was good with computers and with him also being good with the media and bit shouty, he may get a chance at advertising his cousins product Cillit Bang!

HI, I'M ROB SCOTT, IF YOU DON'T FACKING LIKE CLEANING USE CILLET BANG, FACK OFF.

I've no problem with Rob at all and I wish him well. I am certain he gave his absolute all to turn our club around. Maybe he allowed the fire in his belly and his desire to win to overwhelm him. I expect and hope he has learned a valuable lesson and would like to see him given another chance at a football club.

I never realised there was a drug culture at the club and especially the kind of one that required a manager!

I personally don't have any hard feelings towards him. I mean the blokes got a short temper and always reminded me of  John Sitton when he was manager at Orient. See link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IPIILnbXmCE].

I think at the time he and paul had immense pressure it was a year or two into us being relegated and back then I think the pressure got to him. Paul became the man and we never looked back. His ego let him down and I'm sure if he could go back in time I bet he wishes he did it all differently.  I wish him all the best with his new career.
