I couldn't grow a beard like his when I was 22.

And I can't grow a beard like that now, at 33!

I did have my doubts about him in regard to workrate. However, as long as he keeps playing like at Luton, Stevenage and Notts, (creating chances, and a steady force in possession) he could easily become our main player for the season.

Went through the youth ranks at West Ham and probably looked up to the likes of Joe Cole and Paolo Di Canio. It really shows that he has had that kind of football upbringing.

I doubt it as they both left in 2003 when Vose was 10 years of age. He actually was a junior at Fulham as a youngster then went to West Ham at school leaving age.

Not sure who is influences have been but as he gets fitter he looks increasingly dangerous with the ball at his feet.

Looking at his career it feels like he is someone who likes to be loved, we know by now that if you are willing to work hard for PH he will give you as much love as you deserve..................Watch this space I think Vose has a lot more to offer and PH may just be the one to bring it out of him.

After the last 6 seasons - exciting player & exciting times I feel!

A lot is made of 'body language'. Give me the languid quality of Vose over the PASHUN of Lee Peacock any day of the week.

It strikes me that he's the type of player who will probably have an absolute stinker every once in a while where nothing he tries comes off and his rather stop-start way of moving with the ball loses possession too often.

However, it's not too much of a problem if you have an attacking player like this if he's performing well in the majority of the other games as matches are rarely lost due to a poor performance from an attacker.

That said, I was a little perturbed by the way he was dribbling the ball around our penalty area on a couple of occasions against Stevenage!

If he can keep up his form of recent games for most of the season, he'll be a very important player for us. You can certainly see why Hurst wanted to sign him previously. Could have proved the difference between the play-offs and automatic promotion last season.

Glenn Hoddle always looked slow and languid, but he was a half decent player. Closer to home, Neil Woods played like he was in no hurry and casual but did ok. We have seen plenty of headless chickens over the years. It is about effectiveness in contributing to the team.

Possibly but possibly not, I thought Nolan (PH 2nd choice) came good for us at the right time, especially at Wembley where despite Omar's brace I thought Nolan was MOM.......... Its what Dom does now that matters and he is looking better each game, the mid field balance on Saturday was possibly the best I have seen it under PH.

Can't header , looks slow , don't track back bla bla , ok prehaps abit of sarcasm .

Languid  elegance. He boasts the rare ability to shimmy past players without speeding up, simply through misdirection and precision. His first touch is not to bad either . Will he be inconsistent over the season remains to be seen , I think Scunthorpe did a  transfer mistake for the season. Clearly good enough for league one. Has more than good strength, agaight Luton , we got a free kick and he was off balance but retained the ball , absolutely comical, anyone who plays football should know, those that know , just know, his brain, imagination, incredible vision, pin point passing accuracy, stevange for example threaded into Jackson and Omar finished off in great fashion, not everything is working but it's good to see someone being inventive and playing what they see, and attempting to exploit space and gaps , that your average football fan may miss, because they like volley or overhead cycle kick, glamour over simplicity because quite simple some don't see it, hence why he divides opinions , someone mentioned him schooling defenders, now you see it , now you don't , when your eyes move I'm taking that yard from you in that space over there and then linking play forward, when my team fires back into me now Ive drawn , two players to me, let me find Omar or Jackson if those options are not on, let's try make it so that it is. All in one or two seconds.

Bergotov  , zidane , pirlo are the kind of players his aspiring to be. Classic , skilful and grace.
None of them are over fast but players know a player. I really wish in my younger years I had that ability.
If you happen to disagree with post, it's fine but it's my attempt to school those who , miss some aspects of the beautiful game of football .

And looks in his 30's from a distance  .

Amazing skill for his age though surprising he hasn't spent more time in higher leagues. There was a point in the game against Luton where he's up against the defender and he drops the shoulder then sends a pass sideways to I think Summerfield who is unmarked in space without even looking at him he just kept his eyes on the defender. Worth the price of admission just to watch Vose school defenders.

Did you also notice him pretending to be weaker at one point in top left hand side of pitch, defender came in put Dom behind him, while we had a throw in , Dom must of gave the eyes to the player taking the throwing and then bullied himself around defender to receive ball, shame it went out of play by a small margin, would of loved to see that get played around or whipped into box and goal. Then the saying his magic you know would of held true. Funny to see and hilarious but it's normal for him . I'm buzzing watching it, I know what you mean by worth the admission price alone.

His passing needs a bit of work but his strength on the ball is unbelievable; I'm yet to see him knocked off the ball. Can also take a good corner and has a great shot. Like Nolan, as long as he's got the ball winners around him, he can be very good player for us.
