Didn't know there was some rule which prohibits a manager to sign somebody if he works as a pundit on TV ? Just because he's spending a few hours working for BT Sport doesn't mean he's not signing players, he could have deals already agreed with players, or he could delegate negotiations to Chris Doig or somebody else. I don't understand how being a pundit for a game means you can't sign a player.
