In your humble early season opinions who is the best player at the club at the moment? Who do you think will be the next legend barring dizz as he already is.

I really like the look of Sean McCallister and I really think we have missed him.
Miles better than Scott Brown just a shame he's injured.

It does say based on being early. Must have an opinion already of several players even if this changes in the coming months?

Only seen 2 games. I liked Vernon but only seen him once for 70 mins. Berrett looks a player but remains to be seen if he hacks it long term. Davies is strong and experienced. Will have a better idea after a dozen games.

Agree about Vernon. After the first game, I thought he'd turn out to be our key signing given the discipline and intelligence he provided up front. I can't believe he's hardly featured since then.

Davies so far obvious quality , Bogle has impressed me with  a much improved work ethic . Andrew is quality ( a non-fat Darren Barnard almost ) and will no doubt improve the more he hopefully plays .

I like Davies, Jackson,  Andrew, Bolarinwa, McAllister and Berrett (when he has played centrally). Vose clearly has ability, as do Vernon and Summerfield. Not seen enough of Browne or Jones to comment - Boyce has looked indecisive.

Davies is class but I have not seen Macallister ,

I hope it will be Bogle if he can produce his obvious talent on a regular basis  and score 20-25 goals this season.

With a bit more experience Jackson will be. To be a top class player you have an advantage if you have acceleration over the first five yards whether you are a defender or striker. This is his main attribute, other things can be learnt. When I was younger coaches often tried to get youngsters to improve acceleration by taking shorter strides instead of long loping strides eg  Bolarinwa. [nothing against him mind] Messi is a small player but he takes shorter strides even for his size, Sanchez and Suarez are others.Taller players who have this ability include Ashley Williams

After reading criticism about Vose and digging into his past credentials
Key points I noted were
1. Goal of the season for welling
2. Goal of the season Wrexham
3. 30+ starts in league 1 for Colchester fc

Ability never been questioned only attitude, what young man has never had an attitude, so I can't throw stones
As I myself have been a young man and made silly mistakes, with my mouth or my childish actions.

I just watched a game on YouTube westham youth v Chelsea youth fa cup
I don't know how to link the video here , but If you have time just go watch it.

To sum up , I think if PH play him this season he will be the stand out player come the end of it, attacking ability is high standard, strength on the ball is insane, I'm excited to have him at this club and if used correctly the pictures I see in my mind , is a lot of creation and endeavour pushing his team mates forward, sparkled with good goals , assts and work rate going forward, his job is not to defend everything thrown at him, it's clear his not defensive minded but from what I've seen he hits the percentages, so does a job , his real job yes his real JOB is to get the play happening at the right end of the pitch and if the boo boys don't understand football enough to make a sound judgment on a player, understand everyone has a weakness but the harsh and I think unjustified tag of weak going back is a catch 22 scenario , I want anyone with that ability in my football team to do what there best at and for this guy it's clearly attacking so let him do his job, and make me smile when Jackson or bogle get on the end of another well worked team pass, I believe after watching evidence and reading reviews , the criticism is not warranted for this young player,

I'm going for goal of the season to be scored at some point by Dominic Vose .
If your asking me why I say stats don't lie 😏

I'll be shot down by many I'm guessing but only proved right at the end of the season.
Before you shoot me down , go and research your info. How his playing for us I don't know , but while his here I'm supporting him and I'm going for a diffrent title of most stand out attacking player Dominic Vose .
