Hi all

Just seen a name banded around on FB, Lewis collins . llocal lad apparently just released from reading. could this be a potential signing?

Anyone know owt about the kid?

Looks like he was on our books before Reading took him for a fee of some sort.

Quick Google search shows he left town in 2013 for a 3 year contract at Reading. Seems his contract is up and looking for a club. You aren't Lewis are you?

Son of former Town junior and young pro. Dad became a fireman and also a FA instructor.

Lewis was always big for his age but could also play. No idea how he gas got on at Reading. Did play as a central midfielder

From Reading`s retained or go list,

And a number of young professionals will be also leaving the club this summer - Pierce Sweeney, Noor Husin, Hammad Lawal, Nana Owusu, Lewis Collins, Sammi Fridjonsson, Conor Shaughnessy and Bogdan Vastsuk will all now continue their careers elsewhere.
Reading Football Club would like to place on record our sincere gratitude for all the hard work and commitment given by all of the players who are departing, and wish them all the luck in the future.
