Signs a 1yr deal..thoughts??

Personally thought we might offer him a bit longer, maybe 2, then again how much game time will he get next year(none of us really know).

haven't seen him play but heard good things. Hope Hurst gives him some game time even If it's just in the 'tinpot jpt cup'

Very good on the ball with obvious technical ability only downside maybe physical presence which is why I believe he didn't get much of a look in last season. Still a prospect imo

Think the fact we're now FL meant we could afford to make this happen, which is one of the many bonuses of our new status.

Hopefully he can progress with us now, with either a loan spell somewhere or some game time in the first team if possible.

You may have a good point in respect of National League bish bash bosh. Football League will be less physical and may well suit him.

Although to be fair, if you have enough about you, then not being a big lad means naff all. Ask Lionel Messi.

Looks a very good prospect, I'm sure he'll get more chances this season...diminutive and lightweight, but looks very assured on the ball, abit like Graham Hockless  , lets hope he proves better though.

or Johnnie Walker....to be fair I have seen him in the Trophy games and for his size he is happy to mix it....hopefully we will have a proper reserve set up this season ensuring people like Josh and any other players can stay fit, have the chance to impress and progress.
Liked what i have seen of him though as looks positive and comfortable on the ball.

Looked pretty tidy on the ball and aggressive in the tackle (despite his diminutive stature) on the few occasions I've seen him play so hopefully he can get involved in some games this season and do well. I'd have to say that I think we'll need to change our style of play somewhat from the past couple of seasons if Venney and Clifton are going to be able to have much of an impact as both need the ball to their feet and our passing through midfield was non-existent for a lot of last season.
