Evening All,

After seeing MD article on the L2 released list, it made me wonder about the L1 released list and which players could we possibly attract?

(Assuming they work) I have provided a couple of links to the teams and released players etc, any names stand out for you guys?

Happy hunting.

At first glimpse I personally believe:

Boyce - Especially if Toto was to leave.
Donaldson - Imagine him on the right wing and Arnold on the left.
Martyn Woolford - Could be worth a look at? Especially with no Clay or Nolan.
Kyle Vassell - Possible? Maybe on a trial, would be interesting to see how he would do.
Myles Weston - Released from Southend, left winger I believe.

Rochdale have released a few that catch the eye, might be a little out of our league though...

Tom Kennedy- experienced left back, was very highly rated a few years back, not so sure how he's played recently though.

Grant Holt- 35 now and not scored a lot recently, but worth a year? Has he just become another journey man striker or is he the target man were after?

Reuben Noble Lazarus- winger/striker, started at Barnsley and had a loan spell at Scunny. Career seems to need a kick start, were normally good at re igniting careers.

"Falls to Arnold... Arnold! That's it! Thats it! He's sealed it! Grimsby Town are back in the football league!!! Just a minute to go and Nathan Arnold makes it 3-1! Look at the scenes behind the goal! Look at the relief! The agony is finally over!!!"

Would we have to make a big flag with' Grant Holt legend ' on it as if he's Paulo Maldini instead of a ' diffo club every couple of seasons ' campaigner?

I'd have a look at Dany N`Guessan and Curtis Main who have both been transfer listed at Donny. Adam Mcgurk from Pompey and Jordan Bowery from Oxford.

.
Getting on but maybe worth a short team deal to see how he fares given the pedigree which he has had.Defenders can go on longer than outfield players though due to the demands of the game being less.
